For many Milwaukee Brewers, there is no off-season… Instead they travel across the globe looking for top-level competition. For the young guys, it helps to cultivate their progress and gives them added exposure. For the vets, it is a great way to get some sun and keep your skills fresh. BREW MATHs reviews how all The Brewers fared in their off-season leagues… Check in with Jesus, Orlando and Keston, they miss you!
Australian Baseball League (ABL)

OFFENSE
Zach Clark (Centerfield; Auckland Tuatara)

- Swings hard but strikes out a lot
Alex Hall (Catcher; Perth Heat)

- Producing at a good clip and improving every year
Jess Williams (Shortstop; Perth Heat)

- The Bryce Harper look-a-like had an uncharacteristically tough time at the plate
PITCHING
Christian Meister (RHP; Melbourne Aces)

- Really struggled Down Under
Arizona Fall League (AFL)

OFFENSE
Keston Hiura (Second Base; Peoria Javelinas)

- Tearing the cover off the ball, per usual
Trent Grisham (Centerfield; Peoria Javelinas)

- A small sample size but never got things going
Weston Wilson (First Base; Peoria Javelinas)

- TOTALLY CRUSHING IT… While “Double W’s” only had 48 ABs, the kid hit 0.375!
PITCHING
Daniel Brown (LHP; Peoria Javelinas)

- The southpaw pitched well out of the pen (17 Ks in 12 INN!)
Bubba Derby (RHP; Peoria Javelinas)

- Derby got hit hard
Jon Olczak (RHP; Peoria Javelinas)

- Olczak pitched really well over 12 innings (averaged over a strikeout per inning)
Miguel Sanchez (RHP; Peoria Javelinas)

- Mixed results from Sanchez over ten innings
Liga de Beisbol Dominicano (LIDOM)
OFFENSE
Nate Orf (Second Base; Leones del Escogido)

- Orf never was able to get things going
PITCHING
Tristan Archer (RHP; Leones del Escogido)

- Pitched well in very limited action
Aaron Wilkerson (RHP; Gigantes del Cibao)

- Wilkerson pitched worse than one would expect
Liga de Venezuela Beisbol Profesional (LVBP)

OFFENSE
Troy Stokes (Centerfield; Tigres de Aragua)

- Stokes keeps climbing the prospect ladder and may be a star in the making… a true five tool player who also won a gold glove last year
Jesus Aguilar (First Base; Tigres de Aragua)

- Zeus did not have a single HR over 79 ABs but he nearly hit 0.300
Orlando Arcia (Caribes de Anzoategui)

- Very reassuring results from Arcia… last year he came into camp out of shape. He seems to be ready to go for 2019!
PITCHING
Deolis Guerra (RHP; Naegantes del Magallanes)

- Guerra was signed to a Minor League deal in the offseason and it already looks like a smart move
Junior Guerra (RHP; Tiburones de La Guaira)

- Guerra got hit very hard in 5 innings of work
Wuilder Rodriguez (RHP; Tigres de Aragua)

- Solid numbers over 5 innings
Liga de Beisbol Profesional Roberto Clemente (PWL)

PITCHING
Alex Claudio (LHP; Indios de Mayaguez)

- Claudio is a nice addition to The Brewers bullpen. That said, the lefty struggled in the offseason leagues
Liga Mexicana del Pacifico (LMP)

PITCHING
Victor Castaneda (RHP; Tomateros de Culiacan)

- Solid showing from the youngster; averaged over a strikeout per inning
